Creating bootable DVD for Win 8

After I bought Win8, upgrade assistant allowed me to make bootable media to install the software later. I created a bootable USB flash drive, but I'd also like to create a bootable DVD. Seems I can't use upgrade assistant to do that again without purchasing the software. Is there a way I can do this? Can I create bootable DVD from the files on the USB drive or is the package also somewhere on my HDD?
