Creating a slideshow with Adobe Premiere

I have started playing around with Premiere and am trying to make a slideshow.

I have figured out how to import pictures into the timeline, add music, and add transition effects (from picture to picture).

However,

My slideshow will consist of over 300 pictures, and adding a transition inbetween each one will take countless number of hours.

I am wondering if there is a way to use the same transition inbetween all the pictures on the timeline, instead of having to create one for each occurance.

If anyone can give me some ideas, i'd appreciate it.

I don't use Premiere...

In Liquid, I have a tool that allows me to add transitions for all active tracks between mark in and out. Use your help and see if you might have a similar feature buried in it.
