Creating a Phone Menu System

Freeze

Hey everyone. First off, I think this is technical enough, but if it isn't I appologize in advance.

I am involved in a Senior year Design Project at school and my group needs a way to interact with the software I am writing via a telephone. I was thinking that the easiest way would be to integrate one of those Voice Menu Systems (you know Press 1 for blah...). Anyone have any ideas on how this might be accomplished? A search on the Net didnt turn up anything extremely useful...

Thanks for any ideas...

Do you have to write the software for the ACD (automatic call delivery) system also or can it be a canned version from Newbridge/Nortel/etc?

No I hadn't. I'll check it out...

What do you mean by writing the ACD? I need to write whatever is needed to send commands over the phone. I was thinking that using a menu system would be easiest (press 1 to get status for the hardware we are designing, etc).

We are developing a wireless network and want to get status updates or control the devices through a phone or the web...

Thanks again guys.
