Creating A partition

How can I create an already formatted drive? Im looking to install Linux on my PC, but I dont want to have to uninstall windows. Can I do it?

There is software such as Partition Magic that can do it. I've never tried it myself tough.

Hi, Partition Magic will do it. It is advertised as the way to go because you don't have to worry about your data, but on nearly every page of the manual you are warned to "Backup Your Data!!". Jim
