creating a flash drive (SSD or thumb drive) based windows install disk

not sure if this should go in here or software for windows, but it relates more to formatting of the drive and how to set it up properly. i have a 4gb kingston data traveler which gets about 21mb/s sequential data transfer rates, hardly fast compared to a fast hard disk, but probably a lot faster for an OS install disk than reading from a CD or DVD would be (correct me if im wrong). now, i am planning to install windows 7 pro today onto my new file server/quad gup compute box (yay for MSI 890FXA-GD70) and i figured i would give it a go. is it as simple as using the MSDN AA .iso i have of 7 pro to create a partition on the drive, and what software do i use to do this? i was told daemon tools can do this, but looking through daemon tools lite that i have installed, im not really sure how to go about converting the image file to a disk partition. now, if this works as well as i hope it will, i plan to get a super cheap ssd to use for os installing from now on, would there be an issue loading multiple ISO files as partitions on a disk, and using just one disk for all my OS install needs? would make my life a lot easier, since i can toss a few dozen linux distros and every version if windows i have on there. this would be fedora, openSUSE, ubuntu, a custom kernel my friend uses, and win server 2008 R2 enterprise, xp, vista, 7. still need all of em for testing or troubleshooting purposes, in addition to setting up new servers, which i will be doing on a regular basis for personal educational reasons
