Creating a company standard for firewalls.

I need to create a basic standard for the implementation and configuration of firewalls for a mid-sized business. Does anyone know where I can find a sample document of a firewall standard?

Define "mid-sized". I cannot give you one as such standards are usually considered restricted access (need to know). They may go into detail on protections and that would be why. Try CPUG (Checkpoint Users Group) or one of the other firewall user groups.
