I have taken creatine many times and you are right the big mass gains you did not see are really not to expected...the strength and endurance is exactly what i have gotten too...
I have cycled on monhydrate for a long tome and now currently use ethel ester when not on another type of training regiment...
There are no adverse effects...it is a myth it stunts your growth....you also do not lose all your strenght after you stop...water retension goes down a bit but nothing else (that was made up by pansies who were jealous they didnt try it) you still lifted, you just got a more efficient pump, which gave you the quicker gains...by no means does it go away...and you have to stop using it with monohydrate
anyway I reccomend the ethel ester...just not that cell tech sh!t...
BTW just make sure you drink enough water...it helps you stay hydrated and get better lifts....and creatine can dehydrate you quicker while lifting then without so you don't want to cramp...plus you want maximum fluid available for dissusion into and out of your muscles...
