Right now I'm running everyday except the day I work out my legs and the day after.

I usually have a big dinner the night before...then have something small in the morning like some cereal and a met rx protein bar...go lift....then come back and eat a huge lunch, usually pasta and chicken...maybe even pizza....then later that night I have a quick power bar or just a protein shake or something so I can burn fat the most efficient way and go running about 3-4 miles...then when I get home I have a big dinner...

on my lifting days off I run longer 6-7 miles

I take the weekends off but still eat healthy

I have fruit snacks in between sometimes...

I don't follow all those n00b guides about 1g of protein/1lb of body weight or w/e it is..I do what works best for me and I offer advice to others but not in the stupid I found thos googling sort of way...

if you ever read my HS football thread you can see it worked for me

umm creatine puts a lot of water into your muscles, sometimes making them look bigger than the actually are.

I go all natural, just eat right, thats all

:disgust::thumbsdown:

its true

no your you technically, scientifically, anyway you want o put it wrong...

go read about creatine before you make retarded comments about it

i never understood why people take supplements???

cant get in shape without it then its just not in your genes

It depends on what you mean by "in shape" My in shape might be different from yours.

That is true. Everyone has their own goals, and they are only a success if you are happy meeting them.

But I do find the guys that are 5'7" , try to put on massive amounts of size, but never do any cardio kinda funny

true...I run everyday of the week...I average about 30-36 miles a week...and lift three times a week...

nice

im "trolling" on this thread is because I don't think 16 year olds should be taking supplements. But hey, do what you please.

My advice is try working out naturally first, you will probably see big gains in the beginning anyway. Shouldnt just take it to take it.

BTW just make sure you drink enough water...it helps you stay hydrated and get better lifts....and creatine can dehydrate you quicker while lifting then without so you don't want to cramp...plus you want maximum fluid available for dissusion into and out of your muscles...

Well that's part of the reason I stopped, it made gastrointestinal upsets at first and although I did notice strength and endurance increases I saw little to no gains. Which is why I came here to ask about it. I've seen bigger gains just taking Whey powder than I have with Creatine and it seems to be 'advertised' as just the opposite.

yea, probably varies from person to person.

But protein is one of the keys to putting on mass.

No problems there, I have plenty of Whey that I take daily. On workout days I usually eat a large breakfast or lunch with a high protein food (usually eggs) and then I wait an hour and workout. Thanks again.

you want simple carbs before the workout...protein afterwards....eating heavy protein before a workout if a good way to feel fatigued and even sick

but everybody is different

A few little things:

Creatine is good for building muscle, does not hurt...taking more than about 3-5 grams per day is a waste (several studies have shown this)...take creatine with fruit juice. High GI sugars help creatine uptake.

Essential fatty acids are very important...take hemp seed oil or something else if you can.

After that...spend your money on good whey protein...don't waste time with other supplements.
