Creatine - Does it have a certain shelf life?

Can creatine go bad?
The container has been was opened about a year ago. The top has been secured on it tight. The package has no markings/labels detailing whether on not it can go bad. We don't want to die on this stuff. It seems to be ok.

Any recommendations?

I find it funny that such a random question has been asked twice in a relatively short period of time. Weird.
