Created team, but how to join?

I just created a team for students in my networking class to join. We also have all the computers in the lab at school running RC5. After creating the team, it said I'd have to join it first. I did not join right then because the server had not emailed my pwd to me yet. I now have my pwd, but how do I join my team to activate it? I searched, but it did not show up. What to do?

Hmmm, if you can't find team stats listing, it would be hard to join...

Many here would suggest Joining Team AnandTech, and make your team a Mini-Team of TA.

I wouldn't make that suggestion. Really I wouldn't.

I'm creating a separate team as opposed to joining Anandtech because I have to turn this deal into some sort of potential fundraising project, as our classes are all FBLA members. This way, if our team cracked it then our club would get some of the money.

I am thinking if your lab cracked it then we probably could set it up some way that our team donated some of the money to your group.

As far as I remember, the individual as well as the team will get $1,000. You might want to have the Statistics class work on the odds for you before you go through too much trouble!😉

Osmo.

There are about 25 students with various system specs. There are another 30 or so PC's, plus 10 or so Macs. The specs vary, but in general P1-150 to PIII-600. Some iMacs and a G4.

Don't worry, I have no ideas of us actually breaking the key. It's more of a "it could happen, so therefore..." I'm actually pretty excited about it, I'm going to try and recruit everyone I can.

[salivating] Sure would love to have you and your group as part of Team AnandTech [/salivating].

But, to answer your question, your best bet is to e-mail Distributed.net (help@distibuted.net) 🙂
