Created an Ebay listing 4 hours ago, still nothing appears in search???

Very strange, I did a 7 day listing around 6:00pm est and when I search for it nothing comes up. I have used every variable and have double checked to make sure everything was in order.. Still nothing. Anyone ever experience this long of a delay in a listing? I did get a confirmation email about the posting and the email link works properly.

it does not show up for 4 hours or more with a search. It prevents others from searching and posting with yours.

It will be in your "MyEbay"

Okay thanks, has it always been this way or were the TOS changed recently? I have only sold 10-15 things on ebay but I'm pretty sure the listings showed up way earlier than 4 hours

I listed something once and right after I listed it, I edited it and royally screwed up the listing. Ebay was of little help, I ended up re-listing it as per the advice of the tech I spoke to.

one of the first things i found out when i first listed.

something like 12 hours or something, i can't recall.

I have had similar experiences in the past.

They have to refresh their search database....happens all the time.

No. Immediate. At least, in my experience.
