Thanks to ATI and the recent release of Catalyst 4.2 - Driverheaven.net and Beyond3D are giving users the chance to win a top of the line 9800 XT (one per site) by creating their own SMARTSHADER effects with the SMARTSHADER plug-in.
Hey cool, programmable smartshader effects. Haven't had a chance to look it over, maybe of interest to those of us creative types?
The download includes some different smartshader effects in addition to those that ship with the drivers to play with:
Blur, Contour(Black and White), Contour (Color), Emboss (Black and White), Etch, Ghost, Green ASCII, Sharpen, Sketch (black and White), Sketch (Color).
