Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to create an Audio CD (not MP3 or WAV) from a number
of different source disks. I'm using Nero Express 5.5.10.53 that came
bundled with my LiteON combo drive.

Many thanks,
Nick the bubble.

Don't really understand the question but...

1. Rip the cds
2. Encode to non WAV or MP3 format
3. Burn files

Well, I would rip the individual audio tracks to my hard drive as .WAV files using a program like EAC or CDex. Ripping as WAV instead of MP3 files means you won't lose any sound quality and it shouldn't take long to rip the tracks to WAV.

Then just add the WAV files in the order that you want using Nero's Audio CD compliation. Depending on the length of the songs, you should be able to get 16-20 songs on a CD.

Thanks Blue Weasel for the comprehensive answer.

I don't have EAC or CDex but i do have Creative's PlayCenter (latest version) and Windows Media Player 9 Series that have WAV burn capabilities. Also Nero can produce WAV files therefore which one would you recommend to use?

Download EAC, use that to rip to WAV, then burn with Nero.

EAC is free, and is the best CD ripper around.
