Create a DVD out of .jpgs ?

Does anyone know of a freeware solution to make a DVD out of a bunch of JPG's?

Essentially, I have a bunch of family photos that I want put on a DVD to give to family members for Christmas.

Assume family members I'm giving these DVD's to do not use a PC ( well ), and will simply insert the DVD into their home DVD player.

DVD burning is dependent on Windows DVD Maker, which is only available in some editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7.

DVD Slideshow GUI worked great. Not sure how well it runs on other OS than XP however. I made a DVD for my mother-in-law and added music in the background. Had great fade in/out effects. FREE.

If you have Windows XP, you might be able to create something in Photo Story 3 for Windows XP, then export or save it to some format that a DVD burning app can open and work with (requires a third-party DVD burning app, obviously).
