I had an interesting email when I got in from lunch today. It was long and seemed to be sent to everybody in his address book. It consisted of two separate parts. The first part (which I'm copying below) was him going off on a rant. The second part was stuff he copied from Forevergeek.
So, check out what I and around 130 others got in an email today. Yes, it's long. But it's hilarious so don't ask for cliffs from me. LOL
Kevin Rose from Digg.com leads a Brat Pack of psuedo intellectual tech idiots, and everyone should understand the entire picture and how Digg.com can be used as a backfire source of marketing for your company. Don't feel bad about violating their terms of service, they do it anyway, and you won't be held liable in court.
Brad Burns and the Co Founder, which isn't noted here because no one knows the true story behind our company, are writing a book labeled "Evil In Denial". The Digg.com army is comprimsed of many brainless sheep who trust digg.com as a source of news, however below it proves conclusive to be the worst way to obtain news period.
Zio Systems is not fraud. Brad Burns is not in Jail. Brad Burns was never arrested, and Brad Burns has never been convicted of Fraud, or any criminal charges. Brad will also be showing up in San Francisco at Digg.com, and would much like to speak on public television on digg's show on behalf of Zio's evil backfiring marketing antics. (Maybe slap Kevin in the face and tell him to grow up)
I would also like to point out that GideonTech.com helped us increase our page rank and alexa by over 25,000 points. They did some of the personal people's dirty laundry so we don't have to do it later, everyone knows who we are. They have also proved that most people have no life. They where more of a host for the project. Now Back on Track;
According to Digg.com's Terms of Service, because all of this information is true, linking to my website, with negative branding news proved false, getting it to the top of the page, and then our lawyers proving that Digg.com violates it's on terms of service on marketing propaganda, I could prove to theory how they used Digg.com as a source of sabotage. The greatest part about it is I could have sabotaged my own company, and because Digg.com violates their own terms of service and acts on an aristocratic based system. (They are held liable, regardless if they hind behind saying they are not, especially when they violate their own TOS) I could have won the court case, taken down digg.com, and sued for a few million in damages but I believe whoever doesn't understand this concept should not have the privilege of owning one of my computers and products anyway. Money and power don't mean much to me, so I'm going let Digg.com dig their hole deeper for personal satisfaction.
Digg.com is for Sale:
"However, the company was unable to land an offer in the price range they are looking for - at least $150 million - and will likely close a Series B round of financing instead. Even if someone did buy digg.com don't expect it to leave the realms of aristocracy any time soon, the entity purchasing Digg.com would only try to make money from it."
Digg.com really just pisses me off. I will admit that maybe at some point the idea was a bit unique but in time it proves to be just like every other so called democratic system. To better understand why Digg.com pisses me off you need understand the definition of the two words associated with the entire concept of the site.
Democracy:
Democracy, like so many other human institutions, is a difficult concept to define accurately. In human political structures, "democracy" takes on so many forms, many of which seem unrelated to the concept itself. Is the United States a democracy? No. In the strictest sense of the word, the United States government comes closer to what the Greeks would call an aristocracy ("ruled by the best") rather than a democracy ("ruled by the people").
Aristocracy:
Like many terms used to describe government structures, aristocracy is impossible to define. Founded on the Greek word, aristos , which means "best," at its core meaning aristocracy means "ruled by the best." Its theoretical foundation begins with the political works of Plato and Aristotle, the two central figures in Greek and European philosophy. Both felt that Greek democracy had been a disaster; their fundamental problem with democracy was that it put government in the hands of people who were the least capable of making sound decisions. For Plato, the general run of humanity was driven by its selfish passions and desires; this was a poor foundation for deliberate, considered, and selfless decision-making. While Plato and Aristotle were familiar with an infinite variety of possible governments, they believed that government should be in the hands of the most capable members of society. Above all, people in government should be moral and selfless; they should be highly intelligent and educated, as well as brave and temperate. This was "rule by the best."
Digg.com is like the evident failing society we find in America today, one of the more fairly built governments ruled by a ridiculously large amount of arrogant pricks whose soul objective in life is to grow their crab grass with fewer weeds than their neighbor, becoming mixed in with the ideas of corporate America. It's all so disgusting, not only have I objected to Aristocracy I hate the idea. It's basically just like walking straight up to someone and saying "Hey Buddy, I'm better than you". Mixed with largely diverse pseudo-intellectual communities of people literally hiding behind self-created masks (to drive BMW's), its obvious why those who create any kind of so called "democratic system" would follow the Greek concepts of aristocracy instead of democracy. People in America think they are better than everybody else, everyone is selfish. (because of corporate conditioning) what I don't understand is how these so called people are the same ones that are running the government, covering up bullshit, invading congress as lobbyists to keep up corporate dollar. Then having the audacity the hold the "I'm better than you, haha!" notion. The major thing that blows is these people are working for money, obsessed with money instead of creating and learning for self betterment. Be selfish in your education obtained not in your success and money. Success is about value, not money. The only reason I care the least about money is to pay the bills, I would rather spent my life creating things, just for the hell of it.
You're just insecure, you're not better than anyone else; you're conditioned to be better than your neighbor so Lowe's sells more porch equipment and lawn fertilizer.
It's that ****** simple.
I have but one objection to this argument, ****** You Digg.com and any other so called "aristocratic news system". Here's why;
Digg.com is apparently registered as a creative commons public domain. Well that's great what does that have to do with anything? Absolutely nothing, it basically says that the owner of the domain will take enriched steps in keeping copyrighted work copyrighted.
"A certifier has taken reasonable steps to verify the copyright status of this work. Certifier recognizes that his good faith efforts may not shield him from liability if in fact the work certified is not in the public domain."
Read: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/publicdomain/
Now if Digg.com really cared about someone's work, they would have an alternative link to post and verify actual articles in which the information originated from. Considering Digg.com is just an editor's playground, I really doubt they care at all. Anybody can go on the internet and copy a news article, change it, whatever. This isn't even the thing that concerns me, just pissed me off. (Like Fox news) The creative commons was mainly used for open source programming projects and artwork, not to shield an internet news site that should be held accountable just like Fox News. ****** Fox News too.
So I did exactly what any other pissed off person would do to an aristocratic based news website, I exploited it. It worked well too, I raised my Alexa almost 48,000 points. Digg.com is like a heard of sheep, and the person who runs the website has a huge sheep cannon. Bad news travels much faster than good news, and the higher up my article goes the faster the sheep shoot. I've noticed that, especially in today's society. People love bad news for the simple principle that it boosts them up because they start realizing that they aren't the stupidest person on the planet after all. Your emotional security is honestly something I could care less for, I just needed traffic ranking. I can put up with all your crap; I just recycle your negativity into motivation.
Let's move on to how Digg.com sucks more:
I read very few news and informational sources on the internet and I do not own a TV, you should abide by my laws of news reading and you too will never have to suffer the consequences of corrupted public cornea information disorder.
Never gather any news information from the Television.
Never gather any news information from a website that has ads on it. (ulterior respect for marketing capital is the worst way to corrupt and sugar coat everything)
If Susan says that Johnny broke Jeffrey's leg off and fed it to a pet gofer, go find out for your self. I can understand if it's overseas or something, but the war in Iraq is just a bunch of bullshit. To be honest with I'm tired of politicians using Americans emotions to get elected, ****** you Rudy Giuliani. American emotion should be used with pride, not to get elected.
There are very few things you can trust in this world, and Fox, CNN, and Digg.com are not any of them. According the laws of marketing that you learn in a four year marketing school, they never will be either.
I'm going to cite some information from a website that I can actually somewhat agree with:
Now he copies stuff from this Forevergeek post. Which is interesting itself.
I find his behavior to be so professional. LOL
