Is anyone watching this freaky new show on the Discovery channel? Every week, they take an ordinary car, and customize it into some crazy hybrid machine. This week, they're transforming a Chevy Impala into a Zamboni!

Anyway, if you're a gear-head you might want to take a look. It's kind of a combination of Junkyard Wars and Battlebots, with some California ricer mechanics.

I've seen the show several times...I like it.

Espically not being a gearhead myself.

I still prefer Junkyard Wars though.

i dont like Jesse James, he comes off as a prick. I like the actual competition of Junkyard Wars versus the faked competition of Monster Garage. You can get some neat tricks of JYW, like filling a differential with no drain plug. Fill a ziplock bag with gear oil, put it in the diff, seal it up and then turn the axles to cut the bag and lubricate the whole thing. What an idea!
