Crazy video problem(s)

It's been a while since I posted here. I hope someone can help. I've had my GF4 Ti4200 (Chaintech Special Edition 128mb) for several months now, and most of that time has been without incident. But just recently I noticed some "ghosting" going on. The ghosting is just to the right of the image on screen. It looks just like the ghosting on a TV that gets poor reception. The other problem is that (I just noticed tonight) there is a squiggly vertical line "dancing" down the screen near the center (usually just to the left). If you've ever tried to watch scrambled cable (haven't we all?), it looks just like that. I don't understand what's going on. I've ruled out the monitor because the test screen comes out clean. Any ideas?

Try to isolate your monitor cable from all other power cables and such in the back of our computer. If this improves the problem but doesn't fix it, try replacing the monitor cable.
