Sorry if this is old news, but I was gone all last week. I powered on the 360 this morning and saw the ad, I've been waiting for this game to hit XBLA for years!

Anyone tried it yet? How well does it play nowadays?

The PS3 version plays pretty well and they FINALLY got rid of the all Offspring soundtrack.

I don't like the Offspring at all but it fit perfectly with that game. I'm sure they probably just replaced the music with some crappy knock-off.

I won't buy it again for the sole reason that they didn't renew the Offspring license. I'll just keep playing it on my Dreamcast.

Bought the PS3 version the day they came out. They put some shitty goddamn awful music on there. Really, really pisses me off and throws my game off. I need to download the original soundtrack and play it over. THANK GOD they allow custom music.

I saw they also took out all the locations, IE Pizza Hut, etc. Made them into nondescript buildings.

The only way I could play this is to have custom soundtrack with the original Offspring and BR songs. The mood is too different without them. They fit the game well.

OK, I'll admit I never played much Crazy Taxi back in the DC days (I didn't have a DC) but how do you extend your time (or is it possible?) Methinks 300 second game intervals will get boring really quickly.

Or does it just not extend your time in the demo, I haven't bought the full version yet.

Your time is extended every time you drop off a passenger. I would assume the demo does not have this feature.

Aaaaaaah, that's what I figured. Yeah, in the demo you don't get time extensions.

I kinda wish they would have updated the controls some. Maybe refreshed the game a little. I played a ton on the DC and loved it. But the demo lost my interest pretty quick. (that and the crappy new sound track)

Sega failed on this port in so many ways, at least from what I can tell in the demo. Hopefully they decide to get behind their re-release of Crazy Taxi 2, or I'll pass on that one as well.
