I have driven over a million miles and I think I recognize some of those roads. The passing situation is just normal on narrow roads. If you can't handle it don't try to drive in the east. What surprises me that is missing is paying off the local police in traffic stops. Don’t have to give them much either.

Too fast for conditions.
Following too close.
Inattentiveness.

It's pretty crazy that people there intentionally jump in front of cars to sue. I heard that is why they all have the dash cams.

It's kind of like here when you see people on YouTube riding their motorcycles have a helmet cam too.
