I totally don't beleive that pic. WHY you guys ask, here are my reasons for it:

In the UK there are road rules or laws you follow. So if they are roundabouts then why is none of the basic, "Right of Way" rule being followed by none of the cars? This is reason 1.

Reason 2 is that the cars, when lined up at a traffic light to turn right, are stopped there. I mean for example when you wait to turn right you would move forward slightly at the lights and wait for them to change yellow or go when there is a gap. The car positioning setup looks like all the cars are waiting at a junction where there are lights and not roundabouts.

Reason 3 is that the main roundabout is the wrong way round, so it is setup, or maybe copy and pasted from a foreign roundabout. Under closer inspection I found out that the drivers in the cars on the main roundabout all have a left hand drive car, and not the British left hand drive. (The wonders of zoom and pic enhancment.)

I believe that this is all a setup to make us Brits look stupid! Nice try but I rest my case this is all a setup!

Ok A2KLAU, I'm a Brit too, and I don't know about your "reasons" for believing it not to be real, but believe me it is!

I've heard of it before both on the news a while back and as the butt of a "Have I got news for you" joke.

Yes I think it`s real you don`t get many mad roundabouts(like that one) in the UK,but I`ve seen or should I say driven on some.

:) sorry Albert(A2KLAU)you are wrong here.

But to my knowledge of how I personally interperate this pic I would say it was digitally altered, but if you guys acctually have seen or heard of this place then it would exist and I am wrong... Oh well... Can't say much more! But to my knowledge I have never seen something like that!
And one thig I must add, and don't flame me for this, but we have skill in driving, and I would think U.K techies will back me up fro this. We have the skill to drive in tight spaces, and park in tight spots easily. We also have the skill to navigate a roundabout, and also have the skill to drive fast and with skill in narrow places. In USA the roads are big, wide and stuff, so why not get some of you guys over and let you guys see how we drive then you mite appreciate how much skill is needed to drive here.

I stress again don't flame me! Its pretty true if you think hard about it.

I have no idea about the US as unfortunately I've never had the pleasure of visiting. However, what I can say is that compared to our continental cousins we are robots of precision driving. If you buy a new car in Paris and it hasn't been dinged by the end of the week it's like winning the lotto :D

I agree, go to Paris and man its more crazy than anything there. Its like her you walk onto a Pedestrian (Zebra) crossing, the cars will slow or stop for you to cross just like that. When I went to Paris for a hol with parents, sort of like walk onto the crossing and Zoom car goes withing inches of hitting us and carries on regardless. Those French just know how to drive crazily, but thats probably just Paris casue when I went to Calais the driving was much better.

dude, that's nutty. 5 little roundabouts and then you go to the big one too. Couple that with driving on the wrong side of the road, and I'd probaby have an accident :Q

Then again, for anyone who doesn't live in L.A., they have a hell of a time driving here. It doesn't bother me in the least.

I guess it's just a matter of comfort with the situation.

late.
