Yeah, sorry about hitting enter and starting a blank thread. Anyway...
So as everybody knows yesterday was black friday. A bunch of places had that Mio c310x GPS unit for $150: i've been itching for one, so I bought it a couple of days in advance at circuit city so I could do a return/rebuy and ensure I got it at the $150 price. Black Friday comes along, I do the return/rebuy, i'm good. This is all I really wanted, so it's all I bought, and since my office was open I went off to work after this.
My uncle apparently tried getting one of these (he didn't wait in line, didn't buy in advance, just went a few minutes after they opened) and they were sold out. This is where it gets interesting...my aunt calls me and asks me why I didn't get one for my uncle. I told her she never told me she wanted a GPS, and anyway it's one per customer. She then calls my mom up, proceeds to scream at her (saying the same thing) - apparently my aunt expects me to give up the one thing I purchased on black friday. Obviously that's not going to happen.
What's funny about all this is my uncle has driven a total of 20k miles in 6 years (i'm NOT exaggerating). He doesn't like to spend money on gas so he drives as little as possible. What the hell would somebody like that need a GPS for?
