For any two digit number, that number equals
10 * x2 + 1 * x1, where x1 and x2 are the two digits.
Add both digits (x1 + x2) and subtract 10 * x2 + 1 * x1 - (x1 + x2) = 9 * x2

Now take a look at all of the symbols that correlate to a multiple of 9 and click the button
