Not much of a great deal, but check out this brand new mouse from Logitech....

IGN's review - highly praised

This thing is nuts, has two thumb buttons, 4 !!!! middle buttons (including scroll wheel), and features one solid body without buttons for left and right click (function still exists of course)

If you need a new mouse, I'd definitely go with this one.

OMG wow. . . this thing looks like it would kick ass. Too bad it's not wireless. It would be perfect if it was wireless.

Wow. Simply amazing. And check out the wireless one, it's RECHARGEABLE ! No more wasting batteries like those other mice. Now all we need is a deal to get one of these for $20 or less. :D

I agree. Anything over $20 for a mouse is excessive IMHO. I just got my MS Optical Wheel Mouse for $5 after rebate.

Yeah not a HOT DEAL but just wanted to inform everyone of its availability.

In due time the mouse will drop to an attractive $19.99 price as the dual optical one has many a time...

I've tried MX700 CompUSA last week. Frankly, other than the rechargale feature for the wireless, there is nothing very exciting, the three extra button around the wheel is just a joke, not easily accessible and almost useless. Believe me you have to put your hand on this mouse to tell how awkward these buttons are positioned. Logitech is probably running out of design ideas.

I have around 15 different versions of recent logotech mice(introuduced in last two three years). The one I like the most is iFeel MouseMan, I don't understand where they discountinued it.

What is the one thing that you use EVERYTIME you sit down to your PC? Just a like a good pair of shoes, spending bit more dough on a great mouse is one thing you might consider treating yourself to. I struggled with the same dilema when it came time to buy my intellimouse explorer wireless. After about 6 months and a OD $20 coupon I got in for about $50...I never felt bad about it once...This MX800 is making me drool with it's awesome shape, great features and rechargable batteries...

Check it out at BB or OD, put your hand on it, and honestly see if still you don't want one...

So I guess this new Logitech mouse is not for left-handed people either? :(

i agree 100%!! i picked up my iFeel MouseMan at BigLots a while ago for $20 and its the BEST mouse I've owned, hands down. i just wish i could find another couple locally for future use -- i've already managed to drop a speaker on the mouse and very slightly damaged it -- and i'd like to have a backup.

Saw this at CompUSA yesterday, and if I hadn't have just bought another Dual Optical at Best Buy the other day, I would have bought it. Oh well, I got the DO for $30, on sale, so I really can't complain.

Agreed. I picked one up at biglots a year and a half ago, and used it for ~4 a day or so... I just recently switched to a cordless optical mouseman because the feet fell off of my ifeel Mousman :(... Why the heck does Logitech still make that style mouse, but not in the optical format? I'd love to buy another!

What I wanna know is why they discontinued the Blue optical mouseman (normal one). I've been using it for almost two years now and it's great, I love it.

Why pay extra for a cordless mouse? I never notice the cord on my mouse and don't have to hassle with batteries. If for some reason you work a distance from your PC, I could maybe see it. Just curious...

I would like to work on my pc while on my bed. Also, the wire is noticable in counter strike when you're trying to snipe or make small mouse movements.

Thanx for informing us. If the replacement of my intellimouse didn't come, then this probably would be my choice. :)

I saw the high end wireless mx 700 at my local best buy (westwood CA). At first glance I thought that it was about the coolest mouse I had ever seen. The thing has its own holster as a charger for its batteries! However, when I actually picked it up I was very disappointed. Those batteries cause it to weigh far too much and the the shape was not especially comfortable. All of those extra buttons are kind of small and did not seem easy to press. Too bad, this thing could have been awesome. What were they thinking!
