Situation:

My laptop has a wireless internet connection to a distant router. I want to share my laptop's wireless internet connection with my PC.

The only way to do this seems to be with Internet Connection Sharing. What I'm doing is this:

-- Plugging in my Laptop's wired LAN and PC's wired LAN into my nearby linksys wired router
-- Setting up ICS with my laptop as host and PC as client
-- Disabled DHCP on the router

This isn't working. What else do I need to do?

Ethics aside, I think you will want to bridge your ethernet connections. This will allow your desktop to connect to other computers on the wireless network.

Bridging connections is made possible with Windows XP which I assume you're running.
