when i went to change resolution in RTCW to 1280x1024 which is supposedly what my monitor is capable of (17inch crt) i get a wierd thing happen
the game itself is rendered on the 9500pro itself in 1280x1024.......but the monitor STAYS in 1024x768 mode......what i see is the top left corner of the image....i am seeing the top left 1024x768 pixels of a 1280x1024 image!!!! obviously the rest of the image is in a virtual space beyond my monitor!!lol
usually when u increase res it squeezes it onto the space available hence things look smaller......not this case.....everything stays the same size.....jus the whole image gets bigger!!!
dunno whats happend...does in on the desktop too!!!.....the monitor stays at 1024x768 while the desktop is 1280x1024....i then have to pan around with the mouse to find icons and stuff that are hiden!!!
