Crazy Machines 2

I bought Crazy Machines 2 off Steam but I can't play it. If you try to launch the game it says preparing game but then nothing happens.

I would post on the Steam forums but I can't seem to remember my password and its taking them forever to email it to me when I use the forgot password feature.

I did see that someone else is having this issue and someone posted some things to try but none helped or didn't apply.

Anyone else running into issues?

This won't really help you, OP, but I had similar issues with STEAM in the past. Basically what happened is that it had never actually fully downloaded and installed the game like it should have, but somehow STEAM told itself that it did (for instance, for HL2 you could see that it had only downloaded like 25MB, but it would say it was ready to launch and would let you but then it wouldn't do anything). I don't remember what I did to remedy it, but you might check that.

Right click on game, Delete Local Content, download again?

ended up downloading a (new?) version of physx software but that didn't help. ended up copying the physxloader.dll file from the physx install directory to the games directory and it worked.

it's pretty interesting. i went through all of the tutorials and played maybe 2 or 3 of the "career" mode levels so far.

you have an objective to complete which hasn't been too hard yet, but sometimes they through in a secondary objective which can be a little difficult to do.

Havent played crazy machines, but loved the incredible machines series.
You can still play it on gametap with a subscription, trial subscription is only 99 cent.
Worth it for that game alone.

played some more of the game and its pretty fun and really makes you think. some of the puzzles are very hard and some are super easy. some also have some complicated rules for the objective, for instance, in 1 level you have toget 3 barrels into a storage area but you have to get them in in a certain order.
