Borrowed the DVD-A. I'll tell you, this kicks SO MUCH ARSE over the CDA version. Of course, it may be that back then I just had two little tin can speakers with no bass and I'm now listening to it on a 5.1 system with a Denon amp (I gotta give that back in a few days 🙁 )

And in other news, I even remember all the little interjections from the live performance, heh.

And it's Ktulu in the song title, Cthulu in HPL's book. They thought Cthulu might have a trademark on it, so they misspelled it.

Yeah, really. You ever notice that at the beginning of Hero of the Day, the crowd is half-cheering, half going "AWWWWW" (as in "awww dammit, I hate this song")

Blast, I just realized Ecstacy of Gold is the song I really like, not Call of Kthulu... I don't even remember what Call of Kthulu sounds like. 🙂 Ecstacy of Gold is the one from the end of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly (obviously not the Metallica version)

St. Anger is much better than anything since Black. It took me years to warm up o the Black album alone, and the garbage they've spewed out for the last decade repelled me. St. Anger was a step back in the right direction, and I respect the balls it took to drop their POP hat and delve into thrash. Good suff.
