I sorta doubt this...unless the radius on those loops was really large or he wasn't going very fast.

Try to actually stand during a loop on a stand-up coaster (like the Mantis at Cedar Point). Basically impossible to do. I partially stood by mistake through one loop, and could hardly walk for most of the rest of the day.

Though my leg was slightly bent, so it could be different if one is standing straight up. But in those pictures he's quite bent over...nowhere near straight up.

The inertia would of probably made his knees scrape the rail unless he wasn't going very fast
