Okay, so a long time ago, I dated this girl. Broke her Virginity. Dumped her very badly after a year and got someone else. Got married, lived in a the big city, worked, moved on with life.

One day the wife and I go back to visit my folks. The ex shows up at their door with one of her girl friends and asks to speak to me. Tells me she's divorced and asks how I'm doing. I told her I was very happily married, etc etc and asked her to leave. The event gets my wife all up in arms. She's suspicious that I have something going with this ex. Why else would she suddenly show up on the same weekend we were there.

What's worst, I told her the city where I lived when she asked (doh). We had a second line that we used for faxing. When we got home, I was testing the line, plugged in the phone and it rang. I picked it up and guess who, the ex. I asked how she got the number and she said she had connections. Freaked me out. She was acting nice, just wanted to be friends. Gave me her number and asked me to call back. I pretended to write it down then hanged up. My wife was now even more pissed. Got rid of that line, moved to another city, my parents moved and I never heard from her again.

I'd say she was stocking me. What do you think, coincidence?

EDIT (to make the perfect spellers happy): stalking not stocking

Maybe, but one visit and a phone call doesn't really constitute stalking.

I wouldn't call this STOCKING quite yet :) She sounds nuts, but then your wife sounds very mistrusting. If I was in the same situation I would get together with mrsskoorb and both laugh at how looney my ex is. I wouldn't expect accusations :Q

You, your family, and the people you used to hang out with have issues. :p

You broke her virginity, and now she's trying to stock you!

The only solution is a mass murder suicide.

You must be pretty good if she was stocking you. Maybe I should get in on the deal, too! ;)

Broke her virginity? Smoooth.

And as far as crazy EX stories I've read on ATOT, this doesn't break the top 20.

Gosh, I'm surprised no one has pointed out that he wrote STOCKING instead of STALKING...oh wait...

cheapbidder01, You need to tell her firmly if you ever talk to her again that you don't ever want to see her or communicate with her. You seem to be humoring this, which is the source of your problems. Put your foot down, and if she persists, then its stalking.

Sorry, its stalking and not stocking. My mistake. But, I definitely do not ever want to get in contact with her again so definitely will not put my foot down. Just keep my address unlisted and unknown.

Yeah...thats it, she was "stocking you."

Why is it that every nerd who hears from an ex girlfriend feels the need to post it here that shes a psycho whos trying to re-ruin their life? Go easy there Flabbio, she just might have just wanted to start up a friendship.
