crazy crazy dunk from Nuggets player

Why is that not a charge?

Hill's left foot was clearly on the line of that semi-circle so it's a blocking foul, not a charge. If Hill had gotten in better position and moved his left foot up a few inches, it would have been a charge.

I didn't really see a travel, just the 2 steps but refs will let that go 99% of the time anyway on a huge dunk.

True. That's why the yanks get screwed at the olympics, because they're used to playing with looser rules and get called on heaps of bullshit that would be fine in the NBA.

meh I've seen way better.

Vince Carter in the Olympics vs France a few years ago and many others blew this one away.

Great dunk, but Manu's questionable, yet awesome, charge to clinch the game later on was even better. :awe:

Great game.

KT

yeah, the difference being there were no defenders in front of that guy. and he wasn't on national television.

impressive dunk of course, but you'd never do that in a real game.

exactly... doing it with no one around, just you, the ball and the rim is one thing... doing it in a game, while under pressure, and having people all around is something completely different.

Uh... How the hell is that impressive? By normal standards, sure.. but by jumping standards?

It was just a standard two handed dunk...

*puzzled*

*THIS* is a crazy dunk:

and...

Both are weak because they're not during live play. A lot of people can practice and plan an awesome dunk but doing it on the fly gets more respect.

Now that's a dunk.

Darlington gets up there higher than Vince. Also, I know about Vince's dunk and have posted it several times.

BTW.. best in-game dunker is Air Up There. Vince is definitely the best NBA dunker of all time.
