So my first pcixpress slot is not working i notice some of the metal pins in bent downwards. If i put my gpu in the second slot will i recieve full x16 bandwith this is with a amd 6990
Thanks and also anyone think i can bend the pin heads back up?
I just built my first computer and finally have it working, I am really not big on the idea of replacing the motherboard so i was curious if i received full bandwith on the second pci express lane with one single 6990. I actually called asus and the man i spoke to said that i would. If anyone could confirm this it would make me sleep better or i need to get moving and take everything apart......
Sorry for the asshole reply - I thought you were a troll. If your board came like that you should RMA immediately... otherwise the second slot will work, but at x8. The manual states x16 in the primary only, i.e. 16/0 or 8/8.

Postscript: Thats a hell of a machine for a first build.
This would lead me to believe that the second slot is indeed full bandwidth unless he runs it in extreme x but under test parameters he says performance default
I can officially say i am sold that both the first pci xpress slot and second pci express slot on the asus p67 deluxe with one single gpu will perform at full x16 bandwith
