I recently had to redo my driveway and had to park across the street in front of my neighbor's property. They were perfectly cool with it as long as I didn't block the mail box . . . There are a lot of other ways to go about this and your neighbor is simply asking for it . . . go to the cops once u get some video evidence . . .

Regardless, I would keep doing it just to piss the guy off, and collect evidence. Sounds like the guy is getting more and more pissed by the night, so he might slash your tires or something. Try and get that on tape

Taser them, and then restrain them with duct tape and call the cops. That would make for an embarrasing evening for the guy.

I'd have called the cops after the last incident. Assuming the OP kept the notes they'd have all the evidence needed to nail the guy or at least scare him enough that he desists vandalizing cars.

I have the last note they left, which is actually the best since they specifically mentioned how i wasn't allowed to park in front of 72343 whatever street. I didn't call this morning because I was in a rush to get to a meeting, and just generally prefer to keep police out of it.

I'd catch them in the act (webcam is good idea if there's enough light and make sure it's recording a video file to a computer in case you need it). If it's the street, it's public property. He doesn't have any ownership whatsoever and what he's doing is vandalism, period. Catch them in the act with a webcam and while they're doing it, confront them on it and if necessary, involve the police with the video file. He could be arrested and have to pay for all damages.

i had a very similar issue with a neighbor of mine, he would put notes on my car then he started spitting and throwing dirt on it... i confronted him about it and he just kept denying it, called the cops and all they did was leave him a note...finally i told him i knew it was him and that if he did it again he would regret it... i guess that scared him enough not to do it anymore, he was an ass
