errr when i opened it, it looks like it was shot with a camera that has a visible light filter on it. im seeing infrared-like images...

I read that it was done using a ski type of thing. It lets you lean over by so much. It goes on the front of your foot somehow. You just have to keep your body somewhat rigid so you don't flop over completely.
