I had some pretty wealthy friends where the wife arranged something like that for her husband on his B-day. First there was a smash-n-grab of the guy and they threw him in a van at gunpoint. Then there was a second party at a fake road block that took him from the first party, but still didn't appear friendly. They took him somewhere and when they took the bag off of his head it was his surprise B-day party. I wasn't there, he just told me about it. The guys were actually his friends and most of them were Marines/Spec-ops and wearing ski masks.

It was in North Carolina, and probably not legal. Keep in mind that basically everything is illegal if you aren't rich.

I don't think it a funny prank when it's something that could actually happen...especially in that part of the world.

Can you imagine a prank in NYC where airplanes where shown heading towards the building inside a skyscraper?

They're lucky that guy didn't have a cardiac right there in the sand. Unless everyone else on the bus was in on it... and maybe even if they were... that was _way_ over the top... and funny as hell.
