Cant find the link, but MS was supposed to launch a distributed project, to use idle time to find bugs in their products. A worthwile project indeed.

Yes, I've heard of this, too. I believe the code name for the project was Wind Blows, or something like that.. 😉
 
Humm, the page is overloaded, but if what you say is true, this could be exciting indeed.😀 While Juno's trying to shoot us in the foot, NASA's work could really make DC a common application.🙂
 
Sorry Virge, this is just the begining of &quot;distributed computing&quot; for NASA.

The results they obtain from this and a few other little projects in the near
future are only to get the ball rolling. There's more in the mix. 🙂
