If anyone has been on the Grim Dawn subreddit anytime over the last month or so, Zantai (one of the lead developers) has been teasing the number 10. Non-stop. People eventually did the math and figured out 10 makes sense for a new class but nobody knew we were getting an entire expansion to go along with the new class.

Main Features in Fangs of Asterkarn:
- Ascendant Game Mode: New difficulty. If you are playing endgame now it'll be on that level, with new rewards; like Veteran mode but for Ultimate.
- A Transformative 10th Mastery: Berserker with shapeshifting skills. Two shapeshift forms from skills, more from items too; not just shapeshifting but melee/magic as well. Focuses on cold and bleed.
- New Chapter: Head west to rugged wilderness of Asterkarn, forest, caverns, snow regions, and hotter areas as well.
- Potion Customization: Two potion slots - no more potions in your inventory. Adding potion ingredients as well (could be potion crafting).
- Affix Transmutation: Meet an inventor to reroll affixes. No more throwing away that perfect weapon just because the affix is useless to your build. Much easier to make double and triple-rare monster infrequents specific for your build.
- Crucible Expanded: 30 additional waves with new loot.
- The Shattered Realm Grows: Expanded with new boss arenas to realm 90 with new SR-specific loot.
- Discover Hundreds of New Items: More MI for older monsters too.
- Awaken Epic Items: Can turn epic to legendary to make them viable for endgame (procs, modifiers, etc)
- Two New Factions
- New Celestial boss
- Max run speed increased
- More of a side story; can do it when you want (like Forgotten Gods)
- Paid full expansion; expect similar price to other expansions
- No gameplay to show yet
- No raised level cap
- Grim Misadventures will continue with more soon
- Charges for skills: multiple casts before cooldown
- On consoles as well
- Two roguelike dungeons post-release (free content update)
- Relic upgrades (easier crafting in patch 1.2)

- Button in the middle: "baseline evasion ability" button. Plan is to add one to everyone. People with FG will upgrade it with the expansion runes. It'll apply to that ability, not on your medal as an augment anymore.
- 17:30... yes, he checks out other ARPGs. Expanding the genre with any new games is good for all of them.
