Hi all-
A while back, I upgraded my mobo and processor. The board I got was a Intel D865GBF. (I was using a MSI w/ a KT3 ultra-ARU before). The video card I had in that system was a GeForce 4 TI. Well, after I upgraded the system, it would make any 3d accelerated application crash after a few minutes. Needless to say, this really sucked. I tossed a GeForce 3 in there and got it to work. I assumed my video card had gone bad and didn't think much of it. That was a while ago, recently, I put a GeForce 4 MX (pci) in and found that the crash has returned. By swapping out components, I?ve basically eliminated everything as possible causes. I've tried different memory, RMA'd my mobo, removed all PCIs, reformatted.. etc..
Are GeForce 4s just incompatible with the 865 chipset or something? Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks!
