CRASHING!!! what the hell is goin on here?

My system has been crashing a lot lately out of nowhere. It only happens during intense gaming when the heat hets too much inside the case.

I have a 1.6ghz XP with the Dragon Orb 3 and artic silver 3. But the system stays stable as long as its below 45c. Seems to crash after it hits 46-55c after numerous deathmatching. I am getting a new case tomorrow at Frys, hopefully a Coolermaster. I have some junky CompUSA pos with all these high end (and scorchingly hot) components. The message that Windows XP gives me has to do with some file called "appcompat.txt" and it seems to be this file everytime my games crash. I have every driver updated, every patch installed.

xp 1900
1gb 2700
gforce 4 ti4400
Windows XP Pro

Does this crashing have nothing to do with my heat?

edit: forgot, Soyo Dragon 333 lite mobo

well since your saying it crashes AFTER its above 45, then i am guessing it is heat related... What kind of PSU ?

And since your are saying after numerous deathmatching... whats the voltage set to on your DDR? with all the slots filled you sometimes need a bit more voltage...

Give it a shot and let us know how it goes..

Good Luck .

Bryan
