Crashing a Networking Conference

Has anyone ever successfully crashed a networking conference before? I'm looking to talk to one of the speakers for ~5 minutes but don't want to spend $800 for a badge. It's a 4 day highly specialized industry conference with very little outside interest. Any tips outside of obvious stuff like dress and whatnot would be appreciated 😀
 
Go to the front desk and say you're "him" and then ask for the spare room key. It works in every movie and TV show.
 
Find the conference program online to find out where/when your target will be in the building. Dress up like a UPS/FedEx courier with a box for last minute delivery. Once in the building, take the box (containing your suit) to the men's room and change into conference attire. A little chloroform will score a badge.
