Crashes with DPAD 441f

Hey guys. 🙂

I switched my main machine to DPAD 441f. I have one at work, seems to be doing fine.

This one - crashes with a crypic [fatal] error. I deleted and reinstalled... but ssdd.
AMD T-bird, running Winblow$XP Pro, same as the work machine. Any ideas?

did reverting back to an old version fix the issue at all? if so, id just use an older version. version 4.41e seems to work great for me :beer:

I ran out of time this morning messing around with it. I'll give version "e" a try when I get home tonight.

Looks like I'll be able to add another 1-2 machines pretty soon as well.

4.41f is solid over here. I run it on a variety of machines, including a P4 1.5Ghz laptop, 2.8Ghz HT P4 and a 1.4Ghz AMD (underclocked to 1.1Ghz, don't ask.. 😕 )

My guesses would be..

1) Heat related? Perhaps it's coincidence that it started around the 4.41f upgrade.
2) Maybe it was installed into the same directory as the old and all the files were not overwritten correctly?

If it's of any help, I run the command line version (I've noticed that running the background version causes weird priority issues in Windows).

I'll blow it away and try once again with 441f. It went onto my work machine no prob at all.

OK, first make sure none of the files are read only, and then make sure all the files are there as well as the directories in the Muon directory.

Arrgh. Crapped out again, and the window closed before I could copy the error.

I restarted. It appears to be unstable on this system for some reason. I was unable to
locate a copy of 441e. Does anyone have one - or have a "double-secret" linky? 😉
