I'm crashing in counterstrike when I am overclocked.

My comp:

Athlon Classic 850 w/ GW VOS32
Abit KA7 w/ ty bios
2x128 Mushkin Rev3
Leadtek DDR rev B
IBM 20GB 7200 2MB
Kenwood 72X
Netgear NIC
SB Live! value
PHAT! Klipsch ProMedia Speakers

I can overclock it to 1003MHz(118FSB), but in counterstrike it locks up with a constant noise. It will not lock up in any other app(including q3). It will even lock up at 104FSB. I assume it is not my memory.(I hope not for $133 a stick!!!)

Any suggestions for motherboard settings? (Fast writes, PCI burst, etc...)

Thanks in advance!

so it locks up at 850 MHz too?

my roommates comp locks up and we know it's his ram (cause when he uses mine, it never crashes) but it can't be the ram in your case. I'm guessing you are overclocking too high. My CPU will boot to windows at 1170 mhz but won't run stable at 1000.
