Craptastic Volcano 9

Well, after switching to an Abit NF7-S motherboard, I noticed the mounting clips for the processor were vertical instead of horizontal. I didn't figure this to be much of a problem until I went to install my Volcano 9. It seems that my clip is starting to come loose, and will not make proper contact when the clips are in this position. What I have been forced to do is lay my computer horizontally so that gravity helps make the connection between the HSF and CPU. Can I just bend the rentention clip in the V9 so that it will push down harder on the HSF, making better contact? Does my post make any sense at all? If you have an idea on what to do (aside from buying a new HSF, that will come in due time), please leave it here. Thanks.

call thermaltake and explain the problem to them. they will send u replacement parts as required. i've bought lots of thermaltake stuff form the FS/T forum with the odd bits & ends missing or defective and never once has Tt failed to hook me up with whatever I wanted!

Hmm, that sounds decent enough, I guess I'll see if they will send the rentention clip to me.
