So, today i took it upon myself to change the oil in my stealth. I was also planning on installing a new oil pressure gauge, and I needed to drain the oil to put in the electronic sender. Meh, sounds easy. Ive changed oil before.
I get the filter off easy, mmm oil down the arm. Then move onto the drain plug. Start wrenching away at it. doesnt budge. Grab the ratchet and socket, put it on, get some leverage........Nothing. Grab a rubber mallet, hit it hecka hard, and all i succeed in doing is rounding it off a bit. It took a lot more time then this, i just gave a quick rundown. Anyways, the bolt should only be torqued to 29 Ft/Lb's, and i know that this is way above that. So I hate Jiffy lube, who i got the oil changed at last time, and how fckin hard they torqued that damn bolt.
No wd-40 can do anything, so I'm waiting for a friend to get me some PB Blaster...
And I absolutely hate working on my car now, I had no problems up until now. Grrrrrrr.
Cliffs:
Changing oil in car
Damn drain plug goes nowhere
Jiffy lube is to blame
