crappy quake 3 sky

well i found a review of the savage2000
that has s3tc , and it has the same poor
sky that the nvidia has , so its not
just the nvidia card , it has more to do with either s3tc/dxtc or quake3 on those cards

also found a preview of the voodoo 6000
all i can say is dam, its got to be at least as good as the geforce2 , with that many chips,a foot long, and needing 50 watts of power.
plus 128 megs ram

If the sky is irritating enough to be a distraction, your only option is to disable it.
