Crappy DOTD - eagles CD box set

today's (Nov 19) DOTD should be some crappy CD collection from the eagles.
SO all of you people waiting for some good deal can go sleep now
unless u r an eagles fan of course....

The Eagles are one of the worst bands ever to have existed. Hell even those ass sounding 80s heavy metal bands sound better than that ish. They MUST have sold thier soul to the devil to become famous because there is no way such a garbage band could have made it otherwise.

You have no musical taste.
I do wonder about that one tune listed, Droolin Daltin.
I never heard of that one. LOL

Forget arguments about whether the Eagles are good or not.
That's irrelevant.

Bottom line is that this boxed set SUCKS. You get three CDs of
vintage material that each run about 60 minutes, plus a redundant
and unnecessary (in light of the Hell Freezes Over album, not to
mention Eagles Live) 4th CD of material recorded live at their
unconscienably expensive Millenium Concert.

So, in terms of career retrospective, you get 180 minutes of
material for a 4CD price. What you really want, and what the group
and label should have offered if this wasn't yet another blatant
money grab, would be either a full 2CD set (160 minutes), or a
generous 3 CD set (240 minutes). In fact, most/all of the original
studio material would fit on 3CDs. Add to that a 4th CD of
unreleased demos/outtakes/whatever and you'd have a set worth
something. The one that's available is just a mugging.
