I went to the ATM and tried to withdraw money, and it said access denied. I know I have $2000 in my account, so whats up?

I feel like I'm in some thriller. I'll find all my credit cards are canceled and my room has been searched and ransacked by thugs wearing masks. I'll be driving along the road minding my own business when a cop will pull me over and arrest me for the murder of some high level government official. After hours of painful interrogation, I'll be locked in a cell. Using my natural friendliness, I'll convince the police dog to bring me the keys so I can escape. Once I'm out I'll first have to track down the person who framed me, and then prove he is guilty to the police. A gunfight will take place, but in the end I'll emerge with only minor flesh wounds. I'll just keep quiet about the diamonds and fence them later after all the media interest dies down, and retire a rich man in Colorado.

UPDATE-

I guess the ATM was mearly out of order, sigh.
I tried the ATM at Giant and it worked, though I had to pay a freaking $2 fee because Chevy Chase isn't my bank, damn thieves.

Only have $1500 in my account now, I guess those checks I wrote last week cleared or something.
 
Your bank should refund you the $2 since their ATM was broke. My bank did when it happened to me.

I'll give it a try if I can call them from work. I think my free time is worth more than $2 for an annoying phone call, but on company time sure.
