I was all ready to buy a 2200+, because I thought it would be a t-bred B, but I just read a thread here that claims the only B steppings are 2400, 2600, 2800! is that really true?!?! crap!
ugh does anybody have an idea of when we'll see the lower-end B's widely available on the market? any idea how expensive?

yeah all the ones below 2400+ are T-bred A right now
they plan to make them all T-bred B but there is no real time frame for the transistion
probably whenever they run out of T-bred A's

i would give it another 3 weeks to 2 months
it's hard to say when/if since AMD is not really guaranteeing anything, heh

also there is apparently a T-bred C in the works which will be used in their next chip release and be transistioned down as well to the lowerend speeds

so if you want a T-bred B now get the 2400+
else get a 1700+ or 1800+ T-bred A for a good deal
