Time to get a pop-up buster for IE.

I was surfing through E! online and all of a sudden, I get this full screen pop-up of the Snuggle fabric softener bear. In the window, it shows choices to click to watch the commercial or to close the window.

damn, those regular site people are learning from the porn people.

Or when 2 windows pop up, and you close them, and 3 more open. And on, and on. It can take a while to get them all closed.

Dude, get Mozilla. I don't have a single popup at all. Screw the popup blockers. Heck, screw IE. Just use Mozilla.

I second the Mozilla suggestion. I use Phoenix; its very stable, no pop-ups, and tabbed browsing is just awesome. It's not some buggy alpha browser, either; it's very streamlined and while it does have a few snarly parts, it is very well-executed, and has completely replaced IE as my main browser.

Pop-ups lag my pc. My pc specs are:
*Pentuim4 2.4ghz
*384 MB of DDR
*1 WD Hard-Drive 7200rpm
*1 Maxtor Hard-Drive 7200rpm
*Cd-Burner
*The usual.
