I have a nice shiny new Ford pick-em-up (shortbed standard cab, manual trans, V6 F150) bought & paid for, & I'm trapped @ home, kids coming home in the next 2 hours, wife taking a self defense class till 6:30pm, Kid's Karate Classes @ 7pm... Dealership open till 9pm 40 miles away:(

BTW standard cab SWB MT pickups are considered a sports car in Texas:D

Guess I have time to find some take off alloy rims over the phone...

Take the kids with you to pick it up, and then take them to karate class. Sit outside playing with your new toy while they're working on their belts. Case solved :)

Congrats, BTW!

Screw the old car.

When we bought our 2002 Honda Accord SE we left our 1994 Toyota Corolla there until Monday. After work I took the bus to the car dealership and drove the Corolla home.

For the Ferengi in you Rossman, I paid $12,800 out the door, including TT&L. I hope it has carpet, I haven't even seen it yet.

Saw the ad in the paper & sent the wife with a checkbook, she said the finance guy was writing up the sale & freaked out on the multiple discounts...

Not the V-6 ones :D

Nice deal @ 12,800 out the door, TT&L included. I hope it has AC for that price.

Couldn't handle the MPG of a V8, not exactly buying a towing rig...

Yep, got AC, now for some rims... How big should they be?

18's Great size for full sized pickups. Maybe 275/60/18 tires....maybe even 285/60/18 tires. Hmm also a 285/65/18

Use wheel selector at www.tirerack.com and you can see the wheel on your truck.
