and vid card still no work

do you think my MB is fried??

Try holding down the Insert key while powering on, until you can get into the BIOS. If that works, disable Fan-Off Control in the BIOS (Soyo enables it by default).

THANKS SO MUCH!!

do u know why i cant get my onboard audio to work??
when i click on the mixer in the system tray it gives me this error

"THere are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.

This program will now close."

any ideas??

I dunno... maybe the generic windows drivers don't work for your motherboard? Did your motherboard come with software? I don't have much experience with that type of stuff, but you might also try making sure that your onboard Audio is the default in your control panel; maybe clearing your CMOS took it out somehow.

Sorry for being a noob.

w00t! 😎

Now about the mixer... might want to uninstall and reinstall your devices from Device Management and/or reinstall your drivers, using the latest ones from Soyo perhaps.

ive done all that still no work
i use to have a Audigy Gamer
i thought it got fried somehow when i installed my Logitech Z-680 but it worked for a whole movie
then i installed my sisters Nomad Jukebox Zen MP3 player thru the firewire port on the sound card and that worked till i noticed no sound was comin out of the speakers than the Zen didnt work
so i took the Audigy out and put it in my sisters computer and it works fine
now im trying to use my Onboard sound till my new MB, CPU, RAM, and Audigy 2 card gets here
but i think its my MB

thanks!!
